Every guest — new or returning — begins seated, unhurried, with an espresso and a conversation.

We are, above all else, a listening room. Before a comb is lifted or a tone is mixed, we map your hair the way a tailor maps a shoulder: porosity, density, growth pattern, the way you air-dry on a Tuesday. What you leave with — always — is a written plan. What you leave without — always — is a bill.

A cut at Maison Noir is drawn dry, checked wet, and finished dry again — so what leaves the chair is what you wake up to at home.

There is no such thing as a small trim here. Every cut begins with a bone-structure read and ends with a blow-dry tuned to the mornings you actually keep. We work in millimetres, not inches — because a face changes when a fringe moves five of them.

Our restorative floor is deliberately unhurried. Warm towels, low light, a fifteen-minute scalp massage that will, on occasion, put a guest gently to sleep. Each treatment pairs a molecular repair with a sensorial one — the science and the softness, held together.
